On Brackets and Parentheses

Periodically in the Proper of Saints you'll run across a saint whose date is in either brackets [] or parentheses (). Here are a couple examples:

Here's what the preface as to say about these:
"[] Black brackets throughout the book indicate Feasts and liturgical units not contained in the Benedictine original.
() Parentheses indicate Feasts and liturgical units from Benedictine sources, but not contained in the present Breviarum Monasticum."

Other than that little bit, there is nothing else said about these Feasts or how to incorporate them into the Sanctoral Cycle. They almost always have only a Collect and never indicate a rank. Because of this, I decided to always give them the rank of Memorial anytime they appear. This is only true in the General Paginated Ordo.

However, I suppose that if you were particularly interested you could look up these Feasts in the Breviarium Romanum or other sources to see what rank they were given and copy that.

How do you incorporate these Feasts?
